This Close

The above photo is a common occurrence at the Gray house. One out of five kids not looking at the camera. So close to a perfect picture. But you know what? Part of me loves this more, especially knowing #3's personality. He's the middle child. A total ray of sunshine but a complete stinker.

I have a problem spot on one of my manuscripts. I've worked and reworked. I feel I'm this close. Can see the light at the end of the tunnel yet can't quite get there.

My husband told me last night, don't you dare stop now. You'll think of something.

And he's right.

Quitters never finish.

Or get a photo with all the kids looking (even if one is slouching).
